11 Digit Mobile Number soon
An online report said that Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM) will implement 8+3 digit mobile numbers soon after the Mobile Number Portability is implemented.
Mobile Number Portability or MNP allows mobile phone users to change their mobile operators while still retaining their current mobile number.
MNP is scheduled to be launched by the end of this year.
Currently mobile phone numbers has 10 digit or 7+3 numbers.
