Tune Talk reaches 200,000 subscribers
25 November 2009 – Tune Talk, the country’s newest mobile service provider, has achieved a significant milestone when it breached the 200,000-subscriber mark in just about 3 months after its commercial launch in August.
The company celebrates with its 100,000th and 200,000th subscribers over hi-tea here today. The 100,000th subscriber Remmy Zainuddin and Wong Xin Rui who is subscriber number 200,000 each received return flight tickets
to any AirAsia and AirAsia X destination of their choice plus RM200 worth of Tune Talk talktime.
Tune Talk registers on average 3,000 to 5,000 subscribers every day.
“Apart from enjoying maximum coverage nationwide as well as roaming on the back of Celcom’s current roaming arrangements overseas, Tune Talk subscribers will also enjoy our new general packet radio service (GPRS), which will be rolled out in early December. Our IDD rates are also getting more competitive so we expect more subscribers will come on board,” said Lo.
With the festive year-end season approaching, Tune Talk has also lined up promotional campaigns with RM100,000 worth of flight tickets to be given away.
