Motorola has brought a new generation of its ROKR music products to Asia; the ROKR E8. The E8 uses ModeShift technology to transform the phone into a music player with the touch of a button so you only get controls that you need; at the time you need them.
The phone is looking slim with its tempered glass front exterior and a matte back panel. It also has a FastScroll navigation that allows users to easily scroll through all the contents stored in the device. The virtual keypad has a haptic technology that provides vibration response when a virtual key is pressed.
It has 2GB internal memory and external memory support up to 4GB, a standard 3.5mm stereo headset jack, stereo Bluetooth and USB 2.0 for fast music transfer. The phone also sports a 2 megapixel camera
Along with the E8, Motorola also announced the launch of the EQ5 and EQ7 wireless speaker system and EQ3 compact foldable speaker; allowing you to share your music on the E8 with others.
The ROKR E8 is currently available priced at RM1,999 and is distributed by Brightstar Distribution Sdn. Bhd. The EQ3, EQ5 and EQ7 are available and distributed by Sunweu Sdn Bhd. The accessories are priced at RM138, RM338 and RM668 respectively.
