Samsung unveiled U800 Soul b and L870
Samsung has recently unveiled the style-driven U800 Soul b, a fashionable handset that broadens the Samsung Ultra line up and L870, a high-class slider phone that runs on Symbian OS.
The Samsung U800 Soul b stands for Spirit Of Ultra and comes in a candybar form factor, is a feature-loaded handset with a brushed metal finish. It is only 9.9mm thick and 88.7g light making it one of the most compact phones. Plus, it sports a 2 inch 16M colour TFT display and it is equipped with 1GB of built-in memory.
The Soul b also comes with the customizable graphic user interface, found for the first time in Samsung Soul series. This allows users to create their own skins with the on-handset User Created Skin setup. In addition, display skins are customizable with fonts, colours and background images.
The Soul b also sports a 3 megapixel snapper with a powerful LED flash, HSDPA (3.6Mbps) and Bluetooth v2.0. It is available in five colours: Soul Grey, Platinum Silver, Metallic Black, Soul Pink and Amethyst Violet.
The Samsung L870, a slider phone that has a great-looking brushed stainless steel body with capable hardware. It is only 13.5mm thick and has a 2.6 inch 16M colour TFT display with QVGA resolution.
The L870 is powered by Symbian. It is equipped with the latest version of S60 browser and GSM, GPRS, EDGE as well as HSDPA 3.6Mbps for fast wireless connection.
The phone is also equipped with a 3 megapixel camera, FM radio and Bluetooth and USB connectivity. It has an internal memory of 100MB and the memory card slot can support up to 4GB
